The top blue one will be going either to Quilts of Valor (hopefully) and the bottom one, pink & brown will be a gift (when done).  The blue one is Konda Luckau's 2010 Jelly Roll Sampler pattern. 

Looking at the pink & brown one now I am not sure there isn't another border needed all around it....

Another Civil War Quilt block done!

Took me over a week to cut it out and sew it up, one quarter section per day or every other day, but I got 'er done!

Saturday Sampler - January block #1

Here she is and I DO like it!   Using the Marti Michell templates was surprisingly easy and putting together the pieces cut from them was a treat!

Purple Quilt

In my Saturday Sampler I am doing batiks for this year's quilt and since I may as well do two squares at the same time, I picked purple as the second block I'll make.  Here is the purple version of January's block.
