The best thing about 2011 I think, was making these blocks.
These are gorgeous. I am about to attempt a patriot quilt and feel inspired!

Whovian Gran,I'm sure you are going to enjoy the whole process. I am only now, in 2014 starting to put the blocks together in a top. It really seems to be time-well-spent.
